I use they/them or xe/xem pronouns, or you can just call me Quasar! Why Quasar? Well, like the celestial object, I’ve always considered myself distant yet powerful, like a Quasar. The power of the internet is both an amazing and absolutely terrifying thing. It is an overwhelming but rewarding experience. Outlets that span the spectrum of digital and physical media have had something to say about what I have done. My work has been seen, watched, listened to, critiqued, praised, hated, and loved by tens of thousands around the world in various mediums. The use of black and brown was original conceptualized and created into the More Color, More Pride flag in Philly, introduced by Amber Hikes in 2017. Some good, some bad, and a whole lot that was really bad. Whether that be by use of a persona, keeping my name off of things, or not touching it much once it is out there, I always strived to keep a healthy distance because I was afraid.
